Stuffed Potato

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

"Which is your favourite vegitable?" I have been asked this question many times. I am yet to figure out the answer myself because every vegetable is delicious when cooked in a certain way!

Nevertheless, I am sure that many of you would answer this question with one word -"Potato".

For all you potato lovers, let me show you how to prepare stuffed potato quickly.

Take 5 medium sized (washed and dried) potatoes. Prick them with a fork and place them in a vessel with the lid closed. Cook these potatoes for about 5-6 mins.

Now take the potatoes, wrap them in a foil and cook again for about 6-7 mins. All the water left in the potato will dry out now.

Slit each potato from the middle such that each half is intact. Now mix 15gm (about 1 tbsp) of butter and 75 gms (about 1/2 cube)of cheese with 1 tbsp of tomato sauce, 1 tsp of chilli sauce, ¼ tsp pepper and salt to taste. Mix well.

Now add this mixture to the slit in the potato nicely. And microwave it for a minute or cook it (the same way as above) till done.

Easy and tempting recipe that is done in no time!!!

You can have the ingredients according to your taste and preference. These are just indicative measures.
